Shelter Dog

This is the face of one dog out of millions in animal shelters across our country. He has a 1 in 10 chance of finding a permanent home. 10,000 pets EACH DAY are euthanized due to lack of homes. This one shelter euthanizes 13,000 pets each year. Why is this happening? We must stop breeding dogs in puppy mills and in our homes. We must stop purchasing dogs from pet shops and backyard breeders. Finally, spay and neuter our pets.
